A letter From Mary

Hi beautiful, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! 💕

                            I’m so happy you’re here—it truly means the world to me! I’m Mary, the heart and soul behind CandidlyMary, and this space is a big part of my heart.

My story starts in the modeling world, where I first stepped in front of the camera at the tender age of 14. I chased that dream passionately until 2005, when I married my best friend and stepped into my favorite role yet—mama. Life took me on the most magical detour, raising three incredible kiddos and moving around the country, before we finally planted roots in cozy, charming Cleveland, Ohio (Midwest girls, rise up! ✨).

                        But the modeling world never truly left my heart. When my oldest was scouted while still in high school, that spark reignited in the most unexpected and beautiful way. Suddenly, I was inspired not just as a mother, but as a mentor. I realized I had so much to give—years of wisdom, real-life experience, and an unwavering desire to nurture the next generation of models (especially my own sweet babies 💖).

                     Now, I'm proudly scouting for See Model Management, working alongside the fabulous Lynsee Gonzalez (who, fun fact: originally scouted my oldest while with IMG—how full-circle is that?!). Together, we’re passionate about discovering incredible talent in unexpected places and, most importantly, supporting them wholeheartedly.

To me, this isn’t just about modeling—it’s about creating a safe, empowering space where young models feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for. I’m here to guide, cheerlead, and champion them every step of the way… just like I would for my own kids.

                   So thank you, lovely soul, for being here. Whether you’re a fellow mama, a model-to-be, a curious spirit, or just someone who stumbled in—welcome. This is just the beginning of an amazing journey, and I’m so thrilled we get to share it together.
